Welcome to BYKOTA. We’re parents. We’re friends. We love a good time. We go out to dinner now and then. We throw an awesome potluck. And every Sunday morning we study the Bible together at 10:00 at Broadus Church (www.broaduschurch.org). You’re welcome to come, too. It’ll be fun.
So, what’s BYKOTA?
Glad you asked. BYKOTA is an acronym from Ephesians 4:32, “Be Ye Kind One To Another.” It sounds a little stodgy from the King James version, but that’s the only version that makes a pronounceable acronym. The New International version says, “Be kind and compassionate to one another.” BKACTOA. Not so catchy. Either way, we strive to live the message. Be kind.

I have been receiving your daily devotionals from another source. He is not acknowledging BYKTOA, rather he titles it “Daily Devotional from . . . . ”
Just wondering if permission is needed for that.
In Christ,
Jean
Jean,
Thanks for your comment. All of the posts are written by me except for the “Thee Word” devotions. Those are from MinstryPointe and are part of the online literature service we purchased to use for our class. Most of the class get the devotions emailed directly to their inbox from MinistryPointe, but others have had trouble getting them. They seem to get stuck in the spam filters. So, I’ve been posting them on our class blog for use. A number of churces and classes use the MinistryPointe literature, so perhaps that’s why you’ve seen them elsewhere.
Thanks,
Amber
